Inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci‘s painting The Last Supper (1495–1498), MATERNAL FANTASIES invites participants to reinterpreting the image featuring women, children, and fantastical creatures in a celebration of life and connection across generations.

All participants are invited to “bring along” a real or fictional person from the past, present, or future with whom they have a special and formative connection in the form of a short anecdote and an object that reminds them of this person and could be incorporated into The First Supper scene. The final performance in Tableaux Vivant style is captured on camera and video and incorporated into the serial photo/video work by the group.
